Five views, one production
Every view is reachable with a single key. Each card runs a miniature of the real interface.
F1 overview · mixer and song order
Set the song order and mix the channels: volume, pan, effects and output routing per strip. Meters stream live from the core over websocket.
F2 tracker · F2
A grid of sixteen channels and notes in the style of Impulse Tracker, adopting its keyboard shortcuts, from note entry to cursor movement.
F3 graph · F3
Connect sound players, video players, effects and mixers: drag from an out port to an in port, click a wire to remove it. Patch routing like Pure Data or Isadora.
F4 editor · F4
Cut, copy, reverse and apply effects to audio and video material on a simple timeline.
F5 output · F5
The composite output, full screen at 1080p, mapped onto any form: a wall of tiles, a dome, a mesh you morph by hand. Run many cores as one show, every screen with its own crop.
Keyboard first
The interface captures essential keystrokes and shortcuts so your hands never leave the keys. Impulse Tracker conventions where they make sense, everything on screen where they don't.

Under the hood
A dynamic audio core with a websocket-backed web interface. Somewhat Linux oriented.
Audio core
A dynamic 64-bit (or more) C++ audio core that also hosts VST3 instruments.
Video core
FFmpeg-based video loader, a custom video mixer and support for video effects.
Web interface
Bootstrap & jQuery UI over websockets, with customised views and live meter data from the core.
One show, many cores
naprava cores and their interfaces are decoupled. One seat drives many cores over the network, so shows a single program can't hold become routine.
- video wall One video across fifty screens, each screen set to its own crop of the frame.
- many sources Different videos on different screens, with starts and seeks landing everywhere at once.
- moving rooms Hang a gyro on a screen or feed a VR headset, and the picture follows the room.
